WAR - The Order claims it's first keep

After a long and hard fight, the keeplord of Passwatch Castle in the lands of Talabecland had to admit defeat and thus got replaced by Bjorn Hammerhand - a trusted proconsul in the service of the Order of the Storm Seekers.
In other words: The Order of the Storm Seekers claimed it's first keep. Cheers to the successful taskforce and now - go, defend it!

News - I mean it

A startpage not being updated for more than a year doesn't neccessarily mean nothing new has happened
In fact many things have changed:

  • The Order is battling Order in the Age of Reckoning (pun intended)
  • The Grail Keepers are collecting valuable intelligence on the Battlefields of Warhammer while being protected by the Hammers - the Seeker Cabal are still being spooky, well nothing changed here
  • And last but not least "Lost Children" returned and proved they aren't so lost after all - Welcome Back

Honorific for Kharon

It has always been a tradition of the Order to honor those, who achieve outstanding victories, chart new lands, discover strange new artifacts or, simply put, do "more" than just be part of it.

Following this tradition, it's a fitting first task as a new Maester, a privilege and a personal pleasure, to present the honorific title of "Dorf Diplomat" to Kharon, as a sign of appreciation and gratitude for his life-long work in inter- and intra-guild-diplomacy, which is not an easy task, especially not for a dorf *gg*.

... for giving so much to the guild.

We are very sorry, to loose a skilled council member, but we all understand that you want to spend more time with your family and will be occupied a big deal with your house. Thankfully will not loose you as a Seeker though as you stay a Grail Keeper, one of those who's representative you have been for so long.

Svan and myself will do the best we can to continue your work in your spirit but we won't be able to outright follow in your footsteps - they're big - even for a Dwarf!

Congratulations Phaedria

... for hitting Level 60. In true Seeker spirit Phaedria spent his time exploring the dangerous places of the world and the social habbits of its inhabitants while at the same time learning what is necessary to survive in the harsh lands of Azeroth, Lorderon and Kalimdor. We're looking forward to raiding with you and to show you more places you haven't been to.

Banaá in full Vestments of the Virtuous

 The questline is long, difficult, expensive, at some times frustrating and demanding. Upgrading from Tier 0 to Tier 0.5 is nothing that is done easily and quick.

Doing it nevertheless shows dedication and this dedication has to be honored.

Banaá fought brave against Wolves, Ghosts, Undead, Baron Rivendare, Orks, Ogres and finally faced Lord Valthalak to turn in his Vestments of the Devout for the Vestments of the Virtuous.

Congratulations to your achievement!

Unerdil in full Arcanist

Congratulations go to Unerdil for completing her Arcanist Set and therefore be the first Seeker to complete the Tier 1 set from Molten Core. Many runs were necessary, much patience and a bit of luck also was involved in achieving this goal.

Welcome Luthy

Luthy has been with us for some time and during that time, we got to know her as a friendly, helpful, cheerful, not easily discouraged and skilled person and player whom we really enjoy to have in our midst.

So the only logical conclusion was to end her days as initiate and welcome her as member of the Order of the Storm Seekers.

After carefully reading the core principals and the structure of the order, she chose the Hammers as her division and will support the Warlord and the Warcaptains in their effort to lead the Order to strength and honor.

New Warcaptain

The position was vacant for quite some time, the search restless but in the end fruitful. A new Warcaptain was found in the person of Bipp aka. Arielle who more than once has proven to be

  • a joyful and friendly person whose company we enjoy
  • a skilled player, who really masters his classes
  • a patient and systematic raidleader

and thus is the best choice for the job.

Ecclesiastes finally reached level 60 with his warrior and now is a "grown up" :) We hope to see you on our raids!

A truly epic reward for an epic quest - looting 2 Epics was luck, but defeating the 4 vile demons without anyone directly helping shows skill, patience and tenacity. Too bad it's not a gun :)
